CANNON - A HISTORICAL WEAPON OF BATTLEFIELDS

With the arrival of the Mughals in Hindustan, the use of cannons on the battlefield attained a different level. During taking the control of Hindustan, Mughal Emperor Babar used the first cannon.The cannon was a type of firearm that burst an ammunition made of iron or other metal, and exploded from the cannon tube with very emphatically. Due to the artillery fire, the enemy could not attack suddenly. On this occasion, the cavalry could jump freely over the opponents, which gave the Mughal army a special advantage.
